Don't count your chickens before they hatch??Me? Nah....;)

So, in my impatience to get our farm, I've invited 2 families to move on our acreage, have told 2 people I want their kids (goat kids;)but I'd take the human kind as well!hee-hee, have filled out my order form for all the chickens I want, have 3 breeds of canine that I'm daily on the lookout for, have begun selling our furniture that we won't need, and buying tools for the "farm". - Am I missing something? Uh...Oh yeah...we haven't sold our house yet. :( I get so excited as to the planning for our future life that I forget to enjoy what we have. I'm trying to daily enjoy it, and not get too desperate, since the Lord has blessed us with a home and a job. But oh...oh....oh....I can feel the handfuls of cracked corn that I'm about to throw to the ladies laying the eggs, smell the fragrance of all the wildflowers blooming, hear the howl of Jethro ;) as a car drives up to buy a gallon of milk, and of course...the "Mamma, Mamma"...of one of our 12 children needing me for something....oh never mind...that's just Bekah calling me out of my daydream. hee-hee...someday....

Astounding...the blindness of "Christians"

Here comes Summer. Swimsuit season. Uh. The time where "Christians" disrobe in the name of fashion, temperatures...and comfort.
Have we forgotten that Jesus said if a man LOOKS at a woman and lusts after her in his heart that he commits adultry, a form of fornication? And that his wife can get a bill of divorce (according to God)because of it???? Do we choose to stay blinded to the fact that swimsuits are an excuse to run around naked? Do we choose to follow the culture and fashion instead of God's laws? "Thou shalt not covet" - If we wear something that allows someone to secretly covet us, or lust after us, we are aiding someone to commit fornication and Christians...DON'T CARE!!!! I'm so saddened by this reality. There are so few people saying that they follow Christ, that choose to follow the world's standards, as long as they can have the comfy warm fuzzies on Sunday...thinking that they are pleasing God. I'm so disappointed at the willingly blind, who are essentially nothing but hypocrites and choose to stay that way.

I was reading this book while heading to Branson to visit family. - I have to say that it was such an eye-opener that it'll be hard to not compare everything I wear to it. I was not aware of the blatant agenda to which the clothing industry brought forth it's most detrimental piece of clothing. And what's worse...is that they say and are upfront and direct about the agenda behind their merchandise. What's even more upsetting is the so-called Christians that have swallowed up the culture's "loop-hole" to be naked.

I was so intrigued by this book, I had to let people know about it. It's so small and a quick read, but needs to be read by all "so-called" Christian families. To stay ignorant to the agendas is the saddest of all, if one says they are a Christian. We are supposed to be "(Romans 16) 17 Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them.
18 For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple.
19 For your obedience is come abroad unto all men. I am glad therefore on your behalf: but yet I would have you be wise unto that which is good, and simple concerning evil."

Where does it say "know every part of fashion and follow the trends regardless of the skin it shows and fornicators it makes?"

I guess I'm just frustrated at the people who make Christians look like soft bellied, hypocritical, wishy-washy - stand for nothings.
